The Glass House in brief

The Glass House sits on Chain Lane in Staining, FY3 0DE, on the Staining Lodge Golf Course. It is one of the newest wedding venues on the Fylde, built around wrap-around windows that look straight out over open countryside. Capacity is around 150 seated for the wedding breakfast and 250 or more for the evening reception, and couples get exclusive use of the venue from 10am until 1am. • Close to power. All our kit is PAT tested and we bring our own cable management, so one nearby socket is all we need.

Working within the 10am to 1am exclusive-use day

Exclusive use from 10am to 1am is generous by Fylde standards, and it makes our job straightforward. There is no earlier event to wait for, so we can arrive in the afternoon and be fully set up and tested before your evening guests arrive, usually during the turnaround between the wedding breakfast and the evening reception. Setup takes us around 45 minutes and teardown is quicker, all inside the venue's hours, so there is nothing for you to arrange and no early-collection compromise.

A typical Glass House booking with us runs the booth from roughly 7.30pm to 11.30pm, which covers the arrival of evening guests, the first dance crowd and the peak of the party. Four hours of run time is included as standard, and extra hours are £40 each if you want to run right up towards the 1am finish. A trained attendant stays with the booth for the whole hire, keeping the props tidy and the queue moving.
