The Stanneylands is a country-house hotel on Stanneylands Road, Wilmslow — 52 bedrooms on the edge of the Cheshire countryside, a civil licence across several of its spaces, and the State Room seating 100 (120 standing) as the heart of its weddings and celebrations, alongside The Chambers, The Attic and the Grill Room.

We've worked a full wedding here, so we know how the house runs a day: the gardens taking the drinks and the photographs, and the State Room turning from wedding breakfast to dance floor while everyone's glass is refilled.

The mirror earns its place along the State Room wall clear of the service run, set during the turnaround while your guests take the gardens; the intimate rooms suit the compact selfie pod; and the audio guest book collects the messages nobody says on a microphone, played back over breakfast with 52 bedrooms' worth of your favourite people still in the house. One honest note: the hotel sits inside Manchester Airport's flight restriction zone, so aerial work needs air traffic control's permission — we arrange it, and refund the drone element if it's refused.
