Lytham Sports and Social Club sits on North Clifton Street in the heart of Lytham, a short walk from Clifton Street's shops, Lytham Green and the railway station. Formerly known as Lytham Catholic Club, it is a genuine members' social club with its own bar alongside the function space — the kind of room where a party gets going on its own, without anyone needing to be encouraged onto the floor.

We know it well. CandidCamera spent two nights at the club in July 2025 covering celebration parties, and between them our magic mirror took 665 photographs — 449 on the first night alone. That is a fair measure of how hard a full Lytham crowd works the mirror, and of how quickly a bar-led club room turns into a proper night.

The club is a sporting one as well as a social one. Darts, snooker and table tennis are played there, and it is known for beer festivals that visitors as well as members can come along to. That mix makes it a natural home for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, christening and communion lunches, wedding and evening receptions, and club presentation nights.

Our magic mirror is the headline unit here — it needs a 10ft by 8ft footprint, an 8ft ceiling and a single 13A socket, and it belongs on a wall near wherever the dancing ends up, with the red carpet leading in. For quieter rooms and receptions, the digital and print selfie pods take barely a five-foot square, and the print pod puts a photograph in every guest's hand before they leave. The audio guest book asks only for a side table, and event photography and CAA-licensed drone film are there when you want the whole day covered.

Because we have loaded in and set up at the club before, the route in, the power and the pitch are already known to our crew, and it is only around twelve miles from our base in Poulton-le-Fylde. We arrive about 90 minutes ahead, an attendant stays with the mirror all night, and delivery, setup, packdown, unlimited visits, a props box, a bespoke print design and your own online gallery are all included. We carry £5M public liability and everything is PAT-tested, with certificates on request. Lytham sits close to BAE Warton, so aerial work is permission-dependent — we make the airspace request in good time, and refund the drone element in full if clearance or the weather says no.
