The Kings Arms sits at 248-250 Marine Road East on the Morecambe seafront, directly opposite the Eric Morecambe statue, with views over the Bay — a proper seafront pub with oak panelling, a games room, a beer garden, and an upstairs function room relaunched as The King's Quarters with its own custom-built sound system.
We've already thrown a big party here: a birthday upstairs that ran to nearly six hundred photographs in one night, so we know the room, the stairs and the timings.
The mirror sets along the wall clear of the bar run and the sound rig, red carpet leading to it; for daytime dos the compact selfie pod suits the room better. And the promenade is the photographer's bonus — group shots by the statue, portraits against the Bay, and the famous Morecambe sunset without anyone leaving the party for more than ten minutes. The audio guest book collects the messages nobody says out loud, and the family keeps every recording.
