Inglewood Manor is a Grade II-listed Edwardian manor on Badgers Rake Lane at Ledsham, on the Cheshire side of the Wirral border — built in 1915, panelled in original oak, and standing in 38 acres of parkland. It hosts one wedding a day with exclusive use of the house and grounds, for anything from 10 to 150 guests. The Executive Suite takes 130 for the ceremony and 150 in the evening, the Burton and Ledsham Suites step down from there, ceremonies are licensed indoors and out on The Terrace, and 29 en-suite bedrooms keep the party in the house.

We've worked a wedding at Inglewood, so we know how the house holds a party — the oak panelling glowing in the evening light, and the drift from the terrace back into the suite as the band warms up.

The mirror is set for the nine o'clock room in the Executive Suite, along a wall near the dance floor with the red carpet leading to it; the smaller suites suit the mirror without the carpet run, or the compact selfie pod where the day leans intimate. The panelled hallways are made for the audio guest book — a vintage telephone collecting the messages your guests would never say on a microphone, played back over breakfast with 29 bedrooms' worth of your favourite people still in the house.
