Dukinfield Golf Club, founded 1913, sits on Yew Tree Lane above the town — and its clubhouse, rebuilt and opened in 2009, enjoys one of the best backdrops of any function room in Greater Manchester: a veranda running the whole length of the building, with views to Manchester city centre, the Cheshire Plain and the Welsh hills. Weddings, celebrations, conferences and funeral gatherings all run here, with buffets and dining from the club's own head chef, and the clubhouse given over to functions when booked.
We've already worked a celebration at Dukinfield, so we know what makes it special — that veranda at golden hour most of all.
