Prom Night Magic Mirror at St Teresa's Social Centre

School prom season is always one of our favourite times of year, and this one at St Teresa's Social Centre was no exception. On 10th July 2026, we had the pleasure of being part of a fantastic prom night that the students will be talking about for years to come.

A Great Venue for a Prom Night

St Teresa's Social Centre provided a brilliant backdrop for the evening. It's the kind of venue that works really well for school proms, offering a spacious, welcoming environment where young people can let their hair down and celebrate in style. The layout gave plenty of room for our setup without feeling cramped, and the atmosphere on the night was electric from the moment the first guests arrived.

Our Magic Mirror Set the Scene

For this event, we provided our Magic Mirror hire, and it was absolutely the right choice for a prom crowd. The Magic Mirror is always a crowd-pleaser, but there's something about a group of excited school leavers in their best outfits that really brings it to life. The interaction, the animations, the countdown, it all adds to the experience in a way that a standard booth simply can't match.

We dressed the arrival area with a red carpet, ropes and silver stanchions to give guests that real red carpet moment as they came in. For a prom, that kind of entrance really does set the tone for the whole evening.

Our full package for the night included everything to make sure every guest went home with something to remember. Here's what we brought along:

The prop box was a big hit, as it always is with younger crowds. There was barely a moment when the Mirror wasn't busy, with groups of friends piling in together to grab prints and record video messages to each other. It's genuinely lovely to watch.

Video Messaging: A Prom Night Highlight

One of the extras that really came into its own on the night was the video messaging feature. Students used it to leave messages for friends, for their form tutors, and even for their future selves. It's a simple feature, but on a night that marks such a big milestone, it adds a genuinely emotional and memorable touch.

The bespoke print design also meant that every photo strip was unique to this event, with the school's prom branding incorporated into the template. It's a small detail that makes a big difference when guests are flicking through their prints years down the line.

A Night to Remember

Prom nights are special, and being trusted to be part of them is something we never take for granted. The team at St Teresa's Social Centre did a fantastic job with the event as a whole, and we were proud to play our part in making the evening one the students will carry with them.
