We had a brilliant time on 5 September 2026 at David & Susan's wedding celebration at Marton Institute in Blackpool. Our Magic Mirror was there for the evening, and it was a real hit with guests of all ages. Here is a look back at the day, and why this setup worked so well.
Wedding Marton Institute: A Welcoming Space for a Celebration
Marton Institute is a well-loved local venue, and it is easy to see why couples choose it for their big day. It gives guests room to relax, dance and mingle, with plenty of space to set up something interactive without it getting in the way.
For a wedding, that matters. We want our equipment to feel like part of the party, not something squeezed into a corner. Marton Institute gave us exactly that.
Why a Magic Mirror Suited David & Susan's Wedding
The Magic Mirror is a full-length interactive photo experience. Guests step up to the glass, follow the on-screen prompts and strike a pose, and the mirror brings the fun to them. It looks elegant, which makes it a lovely fit for a wedding, but it is also great for getting people laughing.
Because it accommodates 4 or more people at a time, it was perfect for groups of friends, families and big wedding party photos. No one had to be left out of the shot.
The Red Carpet Treatment
We set up the Magic Mirror with a red carpet, ropes and silver stanchions. It gave the whole thing a proper Hollywood arrival feel, and guests clearly loved walking up for their moment in the spotlight.
Our friendly attendant was on hand throughout the evening to help guests get the most from it. We also arrived with a full hour of early setup, so everything was ready well before the first guests wanted to get snapping.
Props, Prints and Personal Touches
The fun prop box got plenty of use, and it was great to see guests of all ages getting involved. Here is what else we included for the celebration:
