Year 11 Prom at Charnock Farm: Magic Mirror Hire Recap

Every year, Year 11 students get one big send-off before they close the chapter on secondary school, and this July, we were absolutely delighted to be part of that moment at Charnock Farm. The prom took place on 9th July 2026, and it was a night full of laughter, big smiles, and more props than we could count.

A Brilliant Venue for a Special Occasion

Charnock Farm is a fantastic setting for events like this. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that works brilliantly for celebrations of all kinds, and a Year 11 prom is exactly the sort of occasion that deserves a proper venue. The space gave us plenty of room to set up the full Magic Mirror experience, and the students absolutely made the most of it.

It's the kind of venue that feels special without being stuffy, which is exactly what you want when you're hosting a room full of sixteen-year-olds celebrating the end of an era.

The Red Carpet Moment

One of the highlights of the evening was the red carpet setup at the entrance to the Mirror. The ropes and silver stanchions gave the whole area a proper event feel, and the students absolutely loved it. It set the tone perfectly and got everyone in the mood to strike a pose.

Paired with the gold glitter backdrop, every photo had that polished, high-end finish that makes prom pictures genuinely worth keeping.

One of the best things about the Magic Mirror at an event like this is the unlimited visits. Students could come back again and again throughout the night with different friends, different props, and different poses. Nobody had to miss out, and the queue kept moving all evening.

The prop box was a big hit too. There's something about a good prop that brings out the personality in people, and the Year 11 group did not disappoint. The bespoke print design meant every strip that came out of the Mirror felt specific to the night, rather than something generic.
