Magic Mirror Fun at the Gold Medal Big Day Out, Carden Park

What a day it was. On 1st July 2026, we headed down to the beautiful Carden Park Hotel in Chester to be part of the Gold Medal Big Day Out, and it was an event we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of. Great venue, great people and plenty of smiles in front of the mirror.

A Brilliant Venue for a Big Day Out

Carden Park Hotel is one of Chester's premier event destinations, and it's easy to see why organisers chose it for an occasion like this. The hotel has a real sense of occasion about it, with the kind of space and atmosphere that makes any event feel properly special.

Our Magic Mirror Setup on the Day

One of the highlights of the day was the 8ft x 8ft green screen backdrop. This gave us the ability to drop in custom backgrounds for every photo, keeping things fresh and on-theme throughout the event. Guests were getting creative with their group shots, and the results were fantastic.

With the bespoke print design in place, every printout felt personal to the Gold Medal Big Day Out rather than a generic keepsake. That attention to detail really does matter to guests, and it's something we always put thought into.
