On 27th & 28th February 2025, we were thrilled to be part of JD UP 2025, the largest-ever careers event hosted by JD Sports at Manchester Central Convention Complex. With over 6,000 students from 51 local schools, this two-day event provided a unique opportunity for young people to explore career paths, connect with professionals, and engage in hands-on learning experiences.

JD UP 2025: A Next-Level Careers Event in Manchester
JD UP is more than just a careers fair—it’s a career and skills development movement aimed at empowering the next generation. The event brought together students, industry leaders, and motivational speakers to highlight career opportunities across retail, fashion, logistics, marketing, technology, and more.
Engaging Activities & Career Exploration
The event was designed to be immersive, with a variety of zones and hands-on experiences, including:

🎧 Interactive DJ Booth – Connecting students with JD’s music and entertainment sector.
🚛 HGV Simulator – A hands-on experience for those interested in transport and distribution.

With motivational talks from JD leadership, including CEO Régis Schultz, and social media influencers like Angry Ginge, JD UP provided young people with real-world insights into career progression, resilience, and how to build a successful future.
Our Role: Elevating Corporate Engagement with Photo Booths
Candid Camera was on-site for both days, helping JD Sports engage with their audience through fun, interactive, and branded photo experiences. Our photo booth hire for corporate events allowed attendees to take home instant, personalised keepsakes while increasing brand visibility.
