A Beautiful Wedding at Ashfield House

We had an absolute pleasure being part of Amanda and Lewis's wedding day on 30th May 2025. Ashfield House in Lancashire is one of those venues that genuinely sets the scene for a special occasion, sitting at the crossroads of Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and Merseyside. It has the kind of character and grandeur that makes a wedding feel truly memorable.

As an exclusive hire venue, Ashfield House gives couples and their guests the run of a beautiful country house setting. That sense of space and occasion made it the perfect backdrop for our Magic Mirror hire, and we loved every minute of being there.

The Magic Mirror Setup

For Amanda and Lewis's big day, we brought our full Magic Mirror experience, complete with everything needed to make it a centrepiece of the evening's entertainment. We dressed the setup with our red carpet, ropes, and silver stanchions to give it that VIP feel that works so well in a venue like Ashfield House.

Guests had access to a fun prop box filled with accessories and silly extras to get the most out of each visit. With unlimited visits throughout the evening, nobody had to wait long before jumping back in for another go.

Prints, Digital Copies and More

Every group got a print to take away as a keepsake, and our bespoke print design meant every strip was personalised specifically for Amanda and Lewis's wedding. The prints looked brilliant and we had a lot of lovely comments from guests on how polished they looked.

On top of that, guests could receive their photos via SMS picture delivery straight to their phones. A download link with high quality digital copies was also provided, so the happy couple have a full collection of images to look back on. All photos are now available in the Amanda & Lewis wedding gallery, where you can browse all 194 photos from the day.

A Friendly Face Throughout the Night

Our friendly attendant was on hand from setup right through to takedown, helping guests get the most out of the mirror, sorting props, and keeping things running smoothly. Having a dedicated attendant really does make a difference at weddings, especially as the evening progresses and guests get a little more enthusiastic with their poses.

We also carried full PLI and insurance certificates, so the venue team had everything they needed on that front without any fuss.

It accommodates four or more people at once, so whole family groups and large friendship groups can get involved together. The touchscreen interface is intuitive and the animated prompts keep things fun without needing much instruction. Guests at Ashfield House took to it immediately and the queue was pretty much constant throughout the evening, which is always a good sign.
